Oxide ceases dealings with Saatchi & Saatchi due to babymilk campaign for Nestlé
Oxide Creative Support is very pleased to announce that it has stopped trading with advertising gurus Saatchi & Saatchi, due to its involvement in an 'ethicalwashing' campaign for corporate giants Nestlé in 1999. "We were unaware of their involvement, and thus, having been informed, feel we can no longer have any further dealings with the advertising company," Liam Kelly OCS. "Over 4,000 babies die every day in poor countries because they're not breastfed. That's not conjecture, it's UNICEF fact." Baby Milk Action. Check them out to find out more.
Happily we are proud to stand by our beliefs and say NO to working with unethical clients. Nestlé and Saatchi & Saatchi would have us believe the BMA's 32 year internatlonal boycote was based on false information, lies or propaganda. Frankly we know where we stand.
